Hi, I am just graduate from school and doesn't have much experience on IT. I am now working as a IT technician specialist.

I need help with setting up VPN for site to site. The latest server we would be using is server 2012. May I know what are the equipment or items needed to setup this VPN?

I did do quite alot of research on setting up a VPN as for my understanding, the equipment that i need for both site are:

1. router compatible with VPN.
2. Servers with network access roles.
3. internet connection must be available.
4. clients computer that needs to be connected to the servers.
5. compatible VPN software.

I would like to know if I had been missing anything for the setting up?

Also, I did check the requirements on setting up a vpn site to site. it says that I need to have at least 512Kbits/sec of internet bandwidth at each site to be make the vpn works. is it true?

I'll look forward to your reply
Thanks

There are few ways in slicing thge VPN "cake" and it depends on the Networks and the its working.

VPN is all about security, if indeed you need it for business purposes, I would suggest that you would use a consultant to take you through the process.
