I need help with Quake III and a MOD.

How do you get a level to work? I downloaded one called the Matrix from FilePlanet and it said to create a folder in the Q3 folder and unzip the files to there. I did that but can't seem to get to play the level or use their bullet time or anything that they said that the level would do. What do I do? Did I miss something? I tried to open the files with the Q3 exe file but no luck. Can anyone help?
 
all you have to do is install it into the q3 arena dir, and then open up q3 and goto mods. then click on matrix and thats it. its a f@#$$cking sweet mod! i love the bullet time.
