I need help with picking a wireless router

I'll be using this for my xbox and laptop. I only know about the wired routers, not too much about wireless. I want to know what are the better models for around $100 and below. Range is important, as I'm in a 2 story/3 level house.

I've got a Netgear MR814v2 router and it works well.

For any wireless router you may have issues if for example you place the router in your basement and expect it to work well on your top floor. Also, the materials used in constructino of your house will make a difference.

I've had good experiences with SMC; I have both a wired and wireless model at home. I just set up the Dlink DI-624 for my cousin yesterday and it's working fine so far.

I have a linksys vpn router and a linksys wireless AP. I can take my laptop anywhere in the house, basement too and get full G connection. Outside too! I put the AP behind a book shelf on the main floor so it has optimal range. I never have a problem with linksys, I installed several at frineds and family and coworker's houses with no problems yet.
