i installed mandrake, no problems, i get to the login screen, and type my name and pw, all good so far, then the next prompt is kc2gub.localhost.local domain or something along those lines, by the way kc2gub is just my login name, so now what? i know for a fact this message has to do with my network and internet, because when im installing mandrake, it asks for the dchp server name or something like that, but thats irrevelant to me, so i just leave blank and it puts localhost.localdomain and this is what it says at this odd prompt, so this definently has to do with my network, but it seems to want me to type in something, so im lost and also right after i pick the screen rez the screen goes black and all seems good...is that ok, am i setting the rez to high? (1280x1024, thanks...
