I just got my new Opteron 170 today and I was wondering if anyone can help me out with figuring out the stepping and other details that are listed in the codes on the CPU.
Heres what the CPU has listed on it:
AMD Opteron
OSA170DAA6CD
CCBWE 0546XPMW
1367284K50262
From what I have been able to gather the CCBWE is the stepping right? And the 0546 in the second line means the 46th week of 05 right?
So how do I know what is a "good" stepping and where can I find info about various steppings for these CPU's?
