I need help with EPOX EP-8KHa+ and memory!

I plan on buying the EPOX EP-8KHa+ and a AMD 1800 with a Vantec cck-6035 fan! The problem is with memory? I don?t understand how or what speeds work with what motherboards?

PC2700 DDR
PC2400 DDR
PC2100 DDR

Can somebody explain which ones I can and can?t use?

All of those will work bro! Spend the extra and get the PC2700 which is guaranteed to run at 166MHz. That way you'll be able to keep your RAM when you decide to make the jump to the new 333MHz standard that's right around the corner(ALi's board is almost here).

I believe that the Iwill XP333 board is one of the first that we'll see based on the new ALi chipset. AMDMB.com had a picture posted of the new board, but I don't see it on their homepage now. You might go over there and do a search for XP333 and see if you can find it. As for power supplies, do yourself justice and get a 400w PSU or higher, and make sure it's a quality supply that is AMD-approved. You'll need the extra juice in the future.
