I am putting a new computer together and with the following components: Motherboard: Iwillkk266plus-r a Athlon 1.33 Ghz processor, and 256 MB of 133 SDRAM, and a ATI Radeon LE 32MB DDR. After installing the components I can not get the bios to come up. It will not even boot. The Motherboard is getting power because all the fans start but nothing else works. Does anyone have any idea what may cause this? Is the board bad or maybe the processor?

Thanks,

Ryan :frown:

You should probably post this in General Hardware... you might get more responses... this is not really a mobo question... although it could be.

but anyway..

If you computer doesn't even boot... the problem lies somewhere in the following...
your RAM, CPU, MOBO, or VideoCard...
I would try to reseat all these things before doing anything else.
Make sure your Video Card is all the way in...
Try putting your RAM in different slots...

Make sure there aren't any extra stands underneath the mother board... sometimes unesscessary stand can short out the mobo.

If you still don't get anything.. try these parts on a different computer and see if they work. Narrow down where the problem is coming from... Good luck!

The most comon problem people have with this board is that they dont seat the ram. Slam it in there good and hard. Also what kind of power supply?
