I need help with a bricked PSP

I got my pandora battery in the mail today from dealextreme. I believe I bricked my PSP when updating the firmware(battery died while update was taking place). So I got one of these battery's to fix it. I put the Pandora in switch the psp on and the screen is blank

I tried putting the battery in pandora mode and switching the PSP on and the screen is still black and blank. Any ideas what to do?

what kind of PSP do you have ? I beleive you also need a "magic" memory stick.

You need a Magic memory stick in order to fix it . It's not something additional you need to buy you just make your existing memory stick into one. Google the phrase magic memory stick and you should find what you need.
