I need help selecting a new video authoring program.

I've used TMPGenC video author works for years. I use it to author and create blu ray discs/dvd's from my home videos from my camcorder, and re-author movies (my own legally bought) making them more family friendly for the young kids. I'm getting tired of TMPGenC. Its a great program, but I hate being limited so much when creating the menu system, and it doesn't (and doesn't look like it will) support dolby digital or any HD audio formats.

I need something else without it being a software suite made for professionals that lets me have more freedom then my current setup. Make sense? Any recommendations?
