am planning to build my new pc and i will buy the core i7 980x
so i wanna new the final words caz am realy confused about some stuff
1-what is the best mother board for the 980x is it :
- intel Dx58so
- gigabyte ga x58a ud7
- Asus P6X58D Premium
- Rampage II Extreme
those are the available boards

2-according to intel Memory Type:DDR3-1066 ,
and since i will never overclock so does it matter if i go more than 1066 mhz ram

3-am confusing about the hard drive 6gb sata and 3 gb sata ist a big different caz the 6 gb sata not available where i live so am gonna order it from out of my country so goes for the 7200 rpm 64 mb cache and the 1000 32 mb cache

thx

Your not overclocking?

And your getting a 980X?

...

Im guessing cuz its a semi critical machine?

Get a workstation board... or a workstation class..
ASUS P6T7 WS <--- class for workstation.

Giggy also makes solid boards.

2. Get 1333-1600mhz DDR3 ram @ 1.5-1.6v That is about the best "value" u will get on DDR3.

3. lost in what your asking.
Sata3 which is 6gb, is more aimed at SSD's
Sata2 which is 3gb, is what we are on now and getting phased out.

Your HD is still limited on the Sata port, so unless ur running SSD;s u probably wont get a noticeable improvement on either.

first of all i live in egypt so the option with the work station or server isnt here,
second yes i wont overclock the 980x good enough with the best motherboard for it and ram so what am asking is that is there any point going higher with the ram than 1066 mhz ?
and for the mother board which one :D?

the gigabyte board ud5 or ud7 or the asus P6X58D Premium or the e version of the the same board would be overkill for your system...the rampage 3 would be a waste of money for your use....the asus p6x58d or -e board are stellar boards..all the reviews of it are great and even the user reviews are just great...
being in egypt i imagine its hot so the asus D version gas a slightly better heatpipe assembly so it may be better in a hot climate......
