for the kitchen, i'm likely getting a dark, perhaps black, solid stone shiny surface for the countertops... the wood cabinets, probably a natural maple light stained look...
what kind of floor tiles should i get for a modern, but not 'of the moment' trendy tile, kitchen...
imagine stainless steel appliances, white satin walls, recessed lights, open kitchen with mini bar kind of thing, room size about 20 x 10...
for the bathroom, 13x6 or so... recessed light, recessed medicine cabinets, white tub, toilet, not sure what the vanity cabinet will be...some kind of wood box... what floor tiles would work... not sure what wall tiles yet either...
