HP makes office laptops, they're the Elitebooks I believe

These are your standard consumer laptops, and yes you're right, if you want to do some gaming you'll want the Radeon 4200. Nothing else around this price point has a video card anywhere near this fast.

If you don't need a powerhouse then I'd suggest the Compaq. Hundred bucks cheaper, and since you don't need a powerhouse, you won't miss the increase in processor speed that the HP has.

But for what you originally asked, yes the HP's graphics are worse than the Compaq's graphics. It's not that the Compaq is a powerhouse by any stretch of the word, but the HP's graphics are... not great lol. Even though it's a more expensive laptop with a faster processor. Again, the powerhouse thing.

Ok thanks alot for your help, I will just get the Compaq then. I have the Compaq in box not opened its the Sempron model with same graphics ati 4200 and i think that is to low end so i will bring it in and exchange it for the dual core athlon, The HP model i Linked above has more than just a faster proc, it has more ram ddr3, better display, bigger hard drive, webcam, hdmiport., I am running WoW maxed settings with my home system on a Hp lp2475w and it looks amazing and runs very smooth on on ati 5800.
