I currently have a Radeon HD 5650 card, it has screen tearing with multiple monitors and I am tired of dealing with it. I don't want to overclock the card to fix it and I am ready to get a new one.
I would like to get an Nvidia card, I have 3 monitors that I use, two desktop monitors and a TV. I do play games but I don't need to play them on multiple on monitors at the same time in 3D, a single monitor is fine. I was looking at the GeForce GTX 570. Will this support 3 monitors? And if so will it do it without freaking out if I am watching HD video on 1 and doing work on the others?

I'd recommend a 7850 over a 570, unless you must have Nvidia.

Way easier on the power supply, almost as fast stock as a 570, with 30-50% O/C potential, its so easy.

We really need to know the details of the rest of your system to make a good recommendation. At a minimum - how much RAM, what CPU/speed and what PSU (model preferably). And screen resolution(s).

General comments ahead of that info - as far as I know nVidia cards before the latest 6 series do not support three screens simultaneously from one card. So you're looking at either spending a minimum of $400 on a GTX 670 or else switching to an AMD card.

I'll second the suggestion above of a 7850 over a 570. Lower power, easily more powerful with a nominal overclock and support for 3 screens. There's an XFX model on newegg right now for $220 after rebate. Kind of a no-brainer in this price range, assuming the rest of your system is up to the task of pushing it correctly.
