i need help on "proposal" ideas.

the ring i got from bluenile is a 0.72 round/ideal cut/vs2/g color/very good polish/very good symmertry(sp) on a 6 prong platinum setting. it costed me $3000. i tried taking pictures of it on my F717 but it didn't turn out very well.

anybody know where i can get thin glossy paper like one from magazines? it would look stupid if i stick a plain copy paper with my romantic letter in the magazine.

Since she already knows you have the ring, how about this one:

Go buy a cubic zic similar to the one you got. Take a night boat ride. Propose to her there. Drop ring into water. See if she jumps after it. Pull out real ring.

Just go to any office supply store. They love selling expensive stuff like expensive paper.

Diamonds, being nearly clear and nearly colorless are damn hard to photograph.
At the wrong angles the glare either obliterates the entire picture or the ring is complete invisible.

I ended up using my 3Com webcam because the focal length is infinitely adjustable.

I don't like that one. The last thing I want my woman to think is that my life sucks without her, regardless if it is true or not.
