I need help my GEFORCE 2 GTS

I recieved a GEforce 2 GTS(Elsa,Gladiac) but encountered a problem(s). I'm not sure if it's the card. Here's the problem basically, any game freezes in a 10-20 min time span. but the comp doesn't lock up since i'm able to ctrl-alt-del. only the picture/screen freezes. I tried everything the VIA agp patch,Disabling the 4x agp, screwed around with some of my bios setting. Is this the cards prob?-my last solution is now to try declocking it to see if it's the card or not.

I'm taking an absolutely wild guess (actually on second thought maybe not as wild as I first thought), but it may well be cooling, or lack thereof. The reason I'm coming to weird and wonderful conclusion is the timeframe - I'm going to apply the simple overclocking theory (even though your card isn't overclocked) that heat is cumulative and will take a fair amount time to set in... my thought would be to somehow get some better airflow onto the card and then try your luck.

You were correct!..found out by declocking(core clock 180/Mem clock 300..really suck speed). I guess one system fan isn't enough. thanks
