I purchased a dry erase board and would like to mount it onto my wall. My wall is made out of concrete. Are there any special procedures that I must follow in order to drill into concrete? Is there any risk of drilling into electrical lines through concrete?

The screws I have with the dry erase board are rather short. I would say they?re about an inch or inch and a half long.

Thanks :)

Use a drill on the impact/masonry setting. Do you have any of the plastic inserts that you shove into the hole?

I would probably use an adhesive of some sort, rather than screw into the concrete wall.

Yeah that makes more sense.

Do you know of anything that would hold up a decently sized dry erase board?

The best way to mount though concrete is yes DRILL. You can use those anchors with plastic inserts. They expand once the screw is inserted. The only way you will be able to ahere that board to the wall is if you covered the entire backside of the board with double stick tape. It also may not hold. You can also get these screws specifically designed for concrete with no plastic inserts. They are painted blue and come with a massondary drill bit. YOu don't need an impact drill. Just a regular drill

Liquid Nails! ;) That's what they use on bulletin boards mounted on CMU and tile. Just need to make sure it sets level.
