Hello guys,

In need of some advice here.

I have an Android AT&T Fusion 2 GoPhone and would like to play music from the phone through my car stereo.

I have an older 2003 Mazda Tribute OEM factory stereo player but it has NO 3.5mm input jack.

Here is a picture of my stereo......

As you can see in that picture there is a CD and cassette player but no 3.5mm input jack.

Besides that I have a car lighter and below that an Aux input that says 12V.

Here is how the 12V Aux input looks like....

So what choices do I have to connect my android phone to car stereo in order for me to play music?

I am hoping to order something from Amazon (links appreciated).

Get a new stereo. Be sure to get a wire harness that converts from the standard connection your car uses to the one the stereo uses. It's much better than splicing wires. 🙂 (AskmehowIknow)

try this. personally, id get a new stereo that had the jacks i needed rather than keep the old oem and mod it. since i cant afford one for my wagon, i use the cassette adapter. sounds like shit.

Yeah, I don't want mods because I rather just get a new up to date stereo. I doubt the cassette adapter will sound good anyway.

For now, I will just burn some CD's because my player can hold up to 6 cd's at a time. Will just have to save up for a decent up to date modern car stereo player within the year and do a proper upgrade.

Cassette adapters sound pretty good. Quite a bit better than FM adapters anyways. Only real downside is that you have cables just hanging out of your dash.

if your oem stereo supports a CD changer or satellite radio, you can probably get an adapter that will allow for an aux input. those tend to run around $100 though.

edit: NM, cd changer is built in and car is too old for xm...looks like a new stereo is your only option unless you want to mod your OEM or use a tape adapter.
