Hey fellas. We've been busy as hell at work, so I've not had time to do anything. Will let you know how everything goes. Don't expect much of a story, though, as the plan is for her to think no one in particular did it, just the computer is fvcked up.

A variation on the hex editor idea...
Instead of randomly changing values to zero, find the string table (just search for commonly used words, like the name of the program) and change the strings to nasty messages (I'm sure you can think of creative things to say to her!).
