Mine died after 13 months. I bought it with a credit card that will double the warranty up to a year, but I need to find the warranty to know if the policy will cover it. For the life of me I can't find what the warranty on this card is...on the box, on the instructions, on their web site...anywhere.

Can I get a little community support to help me find this?

Thanks a lot.

Once again...Sapphire ATI Radeon X1900 XT

Here is the warranty page for Sapphire Technology Limited.

Sapphire VGA products carry a 2 year warranty with all enquires carried out through your initial place of purchase. This can only be carried out by the original purchaser Please contact your Dealer/Reseller for Warranty / RMA service. They will require proof of purchase which includes the original invoice/documentation.

Is this right?

When I bought by 1950xt, newegg advertised it as a 1 year warranty.

That quote I put on screen came directly from Sapphires website and which I linked. Visit it and see for yourself all the full terms and conditions etc.

I never, ever trust the reseller. When my IIyama failed after 2yrs and 11 months I went on to their website to check and their warranty was three years. So I RMAd. They picked up my old monitor by courier and delivered a new one. I didn't even have to pay for shipping.

Please report back with your overall experience with Sapphire if you are able to RMA and receive a replacement.

For now there is some finger pointing going on. In the quote above from Sapphire's web site it says I need to go through the original place of purchase which is newegg. But when I go to newegg they say I can't RMA it because the card is past the warranty which they say is one year. I've emailed newegg and am awaiting a response. I'll try to remember to report back.

Stay polite and I can't imagine Newegg refusing. They would be breaking a contract.

There is an email address at the bottom of this page from Sapphires website that is for USA RMA/Warranty service support.
The email address is: rma@althonmicro.com

According to this online directory Althon Micro Inc are in Walnut CA. Phone 909-594-3128

Good luck
