I've got a couple 17" x 14" x 9" Stackable Containers that are just perfect for the small storage space I have here. None of the Rubbermaid or similar organizers are as perfectly sized. Tapered sides aren't too cool either. These have no name stamped on them anywhere. My wife got them at a garage sale, so we have no idea who makes them. I need about a dozen or more, and I'm hoping somebody here knows where I can buy these or very similar ones.

Thanks!

You can find all you need at your local Dairy Mart or 7-11. they keep em out back but make sure you are quiet.:)

I've seen some similar ones in the local ACE hardware store - You might try Home Depot, Target, or your local hardware store

Nothing can beat the "real deal" milk crates. I've got a couple that I "aquired" from Borden(milk company) and everything else is a cheap knock off.

Those Ikea units won't work, Aquaman, but thanks. I'm hooked on getting the square sides now. Having a longer depth than width will also be helpful. I'd like to be able to store boardgame size boxes in there on edge.

This Crate - Plastic set of 6, from stacksandstacks.com. Thanks AlienCraft. 18 of them would come to $165.00 shipped, and they come in black, which is a plus. They may be a tad too short lengthwise, so I'm going to continue the search.

I don't know Moonbeam, my searching ability is in the toilet lately. I couldn't find milk crates for sale anywhere, and that looks like the ideal solution.

Edit: I can get 18 of those Sterilite Storage Crates shipped from doitbest.com for $73.00. Finally getting somewhere. Thanks again!

the theft of milk crates is a felony (btw, we keep our milk crates out back by receiving ;))

At one time it was a yardstick, but it got broken. Cheap SOB that I am, repaired it with rivits.

I wouldn't be inclined to swipe milk crates. Besides, I need about 18 perfectly matched units for stacking. There's no dire need, but eventually I want all my PC parts, among other things, stored here in the den instead of stacked in closets and the garage.

Darn it! I just got back from Lowes and forgot to check what they had! Grrrrrr :disgust:

Where do your employers get their crates from?
