no i dont have the hsf but i want one for sh!ts and giggle and later oc ability. look like if i get the dfi i wll get the 7000 instead.

E-mail Zalman, or go to Thermalright's site and see if the XP-120 fits on your board (I'd imagine they're roughly the same size, since they both take 120mm fans).

Edit: Thermalright's XP-120 obscures the first PCIe slot with its heatpipes, but it looks like that's the PCIe x4 slot, which is used by nothing that I know of ATM. On the Ultra-D you also have two PCIe x16 slots according to that picture anyway.

ive seen pics of the XP-120 on the board it just barely fits. which hsf should i get the 7700 or the 7000?

Why not just use the retail, and get one of these later? ^^

Overclocking is rarely heat limited on A64s. The retail would do just fine. But for shits and giggles, well you have photos of how one fits..

too expensive and im not a hardcore ocer what so ever. just wondering if i shuld get a 7000 or 7700 for the ultra-d

waht type of tharmal paste do you get witht eh zalman cooler? do i needto get as5 or somthing?

im also debating between PSUs. was look at this one and this one. my specs will be
dfi ultra-d
350 winchester
120gig burricuda HDD
1 gig patriot ram
3205a
6800gt couple of pci cards
and all the usually stuff

i was looking at the first one as a beter option due to no dual rails what do you think?
