I need help adjusting my new Sony G520P

Well I just got my new monitor from Dell this morning and have it hooked up, I have adjusted the screen, brightness and contrast and can set the color later on when it warms up.
The problem I am having is that text is too blurry, how can this be adjusted? Is there some software or something that will help me adjust the convergence?

Any advice would be appreciated!

THanks Wolfsraider that is a neat utility.

I am running 1600x1200 @100Hz

I just enabled clear type fonts in Windows XP and that helped with the Text alot, I suggest anyone with a large Sony monitor running high res to do this.

It is stupid that Sony did not include the drivers with this monitor, the monitor installed as a plug and play showed a supported refresh rate of a max of 85Hz in most resolutions.
With the proper drivers from Sony's sight it shows 150hz max at 1024x768 and 100Hz at 1280x1024 and 1600x1200.........however it is showing a max refresh rate of 70Hz at 1800x1440......it is suposed to do 85Hz at this resolution.

Sure I can force it but I would like to know why it is now showing up as a suported mode with Sony't drivers.
I did notice these are old drivers from like 2001.

Also after the monitor warmed up I ran the self adjustment tool and that made a huge difference.

Really overall I got the monitor where I want it......this is one very sweet monitor. 🙂

I am not sure how rough it is on the monitor to be running it at 100Hz...however it is supposed to handle it, I am used to having low end monitors that can run safely at 85Hz only.
This is my first high end monitor.

If you play games and use any type of refresh rate program, don't allow it to go above 120hz.
There's a lot of games out there that don't support over 120Hz
