i need gift ideas for my dad.

you know how for moms and sisters and stuff there are generic every girl wants it gifts? (pjs, smelly stuff etc)

what kind of gifts like that are there for guys? I am totally lost when it comes to shopping for my dad, every year i buy him a book for his birthday and xmas and its looking like a book year again this year but i want to get him something different. I was thinking about some art but I dunno if he would appreciate it.

All the guys I know love gadgets... electronics for guys nowadays. A new MP3 player or some other gadget usually hits the spot.

If a book... something about "guy" stuff... like sports, cars, prolly not girls since it is your dad, laff. But any hobbies like fishing, scale modeling, card games, photography, etc. Humor books can have universal appeal as well. Mebbe get him a nice watch from Ashford.com with some other family members?

Ohoh... forgot... new cell phone is a pretty affordable gadget... and your mom will like it since then she can call and bug him whenever she wants!
