Anybody know where you can purchase large quantities of "fur" fabric material??

My sh*tbox Blazer is starting to look like a rust-colored truck with spots of red paint on it instead of a red-colored truck with spots of rust on it.

I'm thinking it would be pretty funny to cover the thing in fur like the dogmobile in Dumb & Dumber. 🙂

I really don't care about the truck - the body is not worth repairing as I got the thing for $1000 and I honestly don't care if I ever sell it. I'm sure some dude would buy it for a few hundred just to get some laughs out of his friends.

Any ideas?
 
What about covering it with pennies from the huge loose change jar that can be found in nearly every household?
 
I think the chia pet look goes over real well. Try some grass seed.

Regardless of the seriousness of this post, grass-covered body panels would look great. You could fill burlap bags together and fill them with dirt and seed and attach them to the panels.
 
You can pick that up at most larger craft/fabric stores. Otherwise, try a furniture upholstery place.
.... dont forget to put some horns on the front and toss some boulders hangin' low off the back!

Good idea - I wonder who I would have to bribe to get that plate?

The grass idea is good as well, and might never smell. However, mowing the lawn on the side of a truck would probably be difficult.


Then again, I don't really care about the truck that much, I could always drive it off little cliffs so it gets stuck on it's side, mow away, then get it back upright and do it again for the other side.

Hmmmmmmmm.


* I'd also like to drive over one of those weird car stunt ramps that makes your car drive on two wheels for a while.

That body kit was nice, but pricey. I figure people are already laughing at me for having an ugly truck. I might as well have fun with it...


The only thing I'm concerned about is whether the ricers will still be laughed at more than I will.
