This laptop

Futureshop has a deal where you can buy it with 24 equal payments instead of all at

This would be for a lot of graphic design and 3D work - It's more for convenience when I'm on the long bus rides and stuff, as I have a powerful tower system.

What do you think about the specs / brand ? once, interest free.

The price is $1900 to BUY it. You want to pay $2350 to LEASE it, for two years, after which you give it back? Say this ain't so.

Oh yeah, specs/brand, I have no idea. I'm just answering what i can :)

Utterly depends on what the machine is needed for. Difficult to make a recommendation without that data.

1) that is one heavy laptop
2) it does not cost $1900
3) it is a laptop with a P4 HT... what do you plan to do with it? play games on the roof? if not, get a desktop.
4) if you travel a lot, get a centrino, or the avertec

bad deal, don't buy/lease from them, ever

Sorry guys I should have clarified, I'm not leasing it like renting, it's leasing to own. 24 equal payments.

I would be using it for a lot of graphic design work, 3d animation, and hopefully some gaming.

Sager/Clevo.

Excellent reseller can be found here. The NP8790 is quite popular among the pixel pushers (own an NP8890 myself). True desktop replacements.
