We have a member in our midst that is in a cash bind. This person is a well known member, and is an Elite. I will not say their name here. It is up to them if they want their name known. I want to do this anonymously, for their own pride.
Their car has died, and they lack the funds to get it repaired. Oil is getting into the antifreeze (Blown head gasket it sounds like). I want to start a collection to help this person out. To start it, I am donating $50 Paypal. I would like to see them get $300, which would pay for labor to get it repaired, but they would still have to pay for parts. If we get higher, cool beans! If not, dig deeper.
The goal is starting at $250.
If you have a buck or two in Paypal you want to throw in, please do. If you want to make rude comments, keep them to yourselves. Do not expect praise or thank-yous. I will keep a list of everyone who donates. I will send the amount and the list of people who dontated to the person, but I will not attach the amount they donated. I am sure they will thank everyone for helping out, but if they don't, they don't. There is a difference between charity and helping someone out.
