You just do it dry. Why do you need a recipe?

EDIT: I just re-read OP and saw you are cooking ribs, so disreard this post or save for later.

I like it simple.

If you plan on grilling this is good:

Whole chicken breast

Take it outside and beat it with the jagged side of a tenderizer hammer until it is evenly thick (this part is somewhat messy) and don't get it too thin.
Grab equal amounts of dry basil, oregano, sage, thyme & rosemary and crush it in your fingers to release the flavor. add a little kosher salt (optional and VERY little unless you are cooking red meat) rub it into the already beaten chicken and store in the fridge for a few hours.

Then grill about 5-8 minutes per side (depends on your grill).

I also use Italian dressing for marinate rather than dry rub sometimes.

I got this one from Alton Brown (Food Network) and tried it once. Its awesome! Its good for 2 whole slabs of pork ribs.

8 tablespoons light brown sugar, tightly packed
3 tablespoons kosher salt
1 tablespoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon jalapeno seasoning
1/2 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
1/2 teaspoon rubbed thyme
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
