I need da BEST ac3 codec

Iv tried K-Lite Mega Codec Pack and that ac3filter program and they don't seem to work very well. Iv tried watching the avi files on wmp10, powerdvd 5, Divx player, and the creative mediasource player. Iv also tried using the VLC. I cannot get the sound to work properly! I can hear things but the voices are really quiet. The music sounds really good but I can't hear any voices. Whats up with this! Any other programs or codecs I could use or any suggestions? Please help me!

AC3Filter is pretty much the only choice. What you have to do is go into AC3Filter's settings and turn off DRC. (Dynamic Range Contro) This will solve most of your problems. There are also settings to modify how loud voice is versus other things. It should be in control panel.
