I need cooler?

Hi,
I have a i7-3770 and i'm not going overclock .(Although i can't overclock it 😀)
Now i need cooler? or stock fan it's enough?

Stock fan is certainly adequate if not overclocking.

And, BTW, you most definitely CAN overclock that chip, assuming you have it on a 'Z' chipset motherboard - I have mine running at 4.2GHz. It can run as high as 4.3GHz (six speed bins above stock). For this low of an OC, the stock cooler is still adequate.

Thank you , but CPU isn't 'K' series.

I'm perfectly aware of that, neither is mine.

The non-K chips can be set to six speed bins (600MHz) above their stock speed by adjusting a simple setting present in 'Z' chipset motherboards. The K chips can be set much higher than this, but still on average only go to somewhere between 4.6-5.0GHz.

Stock, an i7 3770 runs at 100MHz x 37 = 3.7GHz. As long as you have a Z68, Z77 or Z78 chipset motherboard, you will be able to turn up your multiplier as high as 43, resulting in a clockspeed of 4.3GHz. If you are on a P or H series board you will not have this option.
