I need car speaker selection help.

I would like to buy a family member some better speakers than the stock ones that are in his truck, but I dont have the first clue about whats the best bang for buck. Not looking for anything to rattle the doors, just something decent that sounds good.

According to what I found on the net, there are four speaker locations and all four are 6.5/3.8.

Any help is very much appreciated guys🙂

What I use (2001 Chevy 2500HD pickup): http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3574.html, good low frequency, decent high frequency (not as good as a separate tweeter, but still decent). They would probably sound better if they were hooked up to a amp and a crossover, but I have them attached to the stock wiring and they sound great, definitely better than the stock speakers.

Also what does your family member drive.
