http://www.emi-inc.net/ <--- a bit pricy, but, they are by far the BEST. They have the BEST support of any company I've ever did business with. They're very expensive, but damn, they don't give up until your machine works 100% w/ no problems. Probably the best bunch of employee's I've ever worked with. EVER.

Due to their flawless and enduring support, I was suckered into buying parts solely from them. I think it's worth it, since the bridgeport mills (all using the 100mghz-era processors) all work flawlessly w/ no problems. Not risking another day of lost money just to support/repair/replace a old pentium.

They use a flashcard for the hdd instead of hdd, and have their own propreitary boards.

Highly recommend. I would definitely not go elsewhere.

EMI is an excellent option and overall a very good company, but it is too expensive for us.

I'm sure you could get such a thing from an auction site for the price of shipping.

So what are you making? Harley trany cases or something cool I hope.

The guy I am helping out is a freelancer. He keeps this Brigeport in his garage. He probably got it for cheap $$$ durring a liquidation of many, many job shops in the area..

i think he is just trying to give a low range of what he needs. Most likely 90mhz is the bare minimum but anything over that will work.

So you can't use anything faster than a P133? Just double checking...

I have a number of older PC's in my basement collecting dust.... but I think they're all newer than that.

But I can check when I get home.

Actually, 386 DX is a bare minimum, but I want something with a little bit of an extra "punch" for the future....:)

Plus, NO LIE, just cruise the streets late night before or early morning of heavy trash day, and get a free, working 17" monitor as well. People throw out working stuff because they're stupid, ignorant, and too lazy to give it to a worthy charity.

I recently scooped up a full, workng Apple system, laser printer, 17" monitor and all, in a trailer park while stopping by to give an old guy I know his first computer. You give, you get.

Also, thrift shops. Although, sadly and somewhat ridiculously, they tend to overprice their tired old home electronics, even they are starting to join the rest of us in the 21st century and price old 133mhz pentiums at $10-20 or so.

Hey that was my computer!

Actually this is true. I found one one morning, upgraded as much as I could and I gave it to my then computerless sister two years ago.

Heres some interesting pics:
