I need an FTP browser that views in hyperlinks, NOT folders...and NOW!

I can't use Internet Explorer, it must be a seperate prog. And I have this crackhead lady breathing down my neck. Stankin hoe...

Anyway, I need help. The app has to view ftp sites, not in folder view (ie My Computer), but in Hypertext mode, so she can see the color changes on the links she's already been to.

wtf? man, ive never seen one like that, the only one is IE. tell that lady to just remember where she has been and not to be such a pain in the ass.

MSIE can be configured to view FTP sites in 'regular' text/hyperlink mode: Options>Advanced>Uncheck "Enable Folder View for FTP Sites". Also, you can log into sites by using the syntax ftp://username:Password@site:Port.

Ladi, you are correct. But the FTP site she needs this hyperlink view for will not display with that "View FTP sites as folder" option unchecked. Hence, the need for her stankin ass to try something else.

Apparently, before we implemented IE 5, she could view the site content as hyperlinks with IE 4. Unfortunately, our SMS admin removed the uninstall routine from the IE 5 install to save measily space, so there is no way to go back to IE 4 (which is unsupported by us now anyway). Even off of a new IE 5 install, an uninstall will only go back to the previous configuration of IE 5 (the configuration without an uninstall option).

In other words, "I need an FTP browser that views in hyperlinks, NOT folders...and NOW!"

I considered that, but her 927lb frame is quit intimidating.

I also have the sneaking suspicion that she is a chimpanzee in disguise, as she has a hairy back and is prone to yelp out "ooogaboogas" at random. Plus I just have a soft spot for forest creatures.
