This is long....
I'm try to download a realplayer format file that is .rm from web site. not just click on realpayer file and play that file on reaplayer. I'm talking about downloading a whole file. I've done this many times using Cuteftp and gozilla, but some sites just don't work the way other site do.
Just to make easier...
If I go to say www.mp3.com and click on a song, then suddenly reaplayer kicks in to play, right?
But I want to download that file, so I use gozilla to enter FTP of that site. I downlaoded .rm file to my computer, but the file is only 235K or something. Not a whole music file.
If I click that file, file directs to somewhere to get song. Is there anyway to find out where to get and download that whole file and play on my computer.

Gredodenda-
Not that I'm aware of. Doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose of streaming media files?

yes, but it takes too much time. I would rather download whole file and watch faster motion (mpeg) and keep the file. 56k is way too slow for streaming media.

The "Plus" version of realplayer supports a record function that will do exactly what you are talking about. I don't know of any other way, though. Probably not worth paying for the plus version just for that one feature.

well, even in the plus version, the author (ex mp3.com) can set a flag in their files and you can NOT record the stream.

gredodenda, i don't think it can be done. I think the reason they do that is to avoid you getting the files.
