My preferred torrent site seems to be on the fritz, so I'm distributing this using my own tracker and web server.

Alias - 2x21 - The Telling (tv rip).avi

352x240 DivX 4-compatable, stereo VBR MP3 sound. Complete with bug, commercials, and everything else you'd expect in a TV show. 817 MB. It shall be slow at first, but as more people download, the speed will increase. Ain't that great? 😉

Just to let everyone know, I have set up a somewhat elaborate system of scripts and cron jobs that will record the show in divx4 format, copy the file to my server box, generate a .torrent, upload it to a major bittorrent tracking site, and make the file available for download by whomever is interested. 🙂

(well, ok, it isn't going to be automated, but I will record it and distribute it with bt. 🙂)

Because I haven't configured my web server to return the correct MIME type. You'll need to give the downloader the URL of the .torrent manually. I've never used the windows client, but in *NIX it's done with the --url switch.
