I would like to have a video card where i can still play opengl games and have an option to send video feed to my tv to watch movies and high res mpegs. The TV has an RCA plug for video in. Any suggestions??

My system specs would help. I know my system is not top notch, but it does fairly well with what i want, so far.

Win98SE
FIC VA503+ with an AMD K6-2+ 450 @500
256mb PC100 ram
30gb HD
TNT2 M64 AGP(with no tv out)
AWE64 value (ISA)

The reason i am asking this is because i don't want to purchase a high end video card like a GF3 and not be able to utilize it properly due to my systems cpu speed or other factors. I figured you guys could steer me in the right direction of a "suitable" card that my system could handle. also one i would be happy with.

I have thought of a GF2 MX200 or MX400 with TV out OR a Radeon with TV out.

Thanks,
Eric

to tell u the truth amd k2 procs. have trouble utilizing all of today's vc... even the mx... i'd stick a voodoo3 in there... probably can handle most games today and if your a diablo II fanatic then it'll suit u well. peace out.

radeon vivo 64MB would be an excellent choice. i have one myself & love it :) but they might be more than you're willing to spend. the voodoo series cards would be a good bet & i think they're cheaper too. shop around on the web and you'll find something in your price range that does what you want it to. :)

How about the ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON CARD?, easy to find, and nice picture quality.
