I Need Advice On A Heatsink/Fan Purchase - Please

Hi all ,

I just bought a Thunderbird Socket A 1GHZ cpu. I was thinking about buying the Alpha 6035 but that is sold out everywhere so instead I am going to purchase a FOP38 Delta 38. Does anyone know if this is an OK fan for my Thunderbird ? I don't know much about HSF's , and I've heard horror stories about Thunderbird cpu's cracking/burning up , please help.

Fop 38 should be fine
They are probably the next best thing to a PAL6035.

Leave the CPU Cracking to Chrome/Golden orbs

(I had a gorb, and it did a piss poor job of cooling, I had to have a fan next to my computer, until I switched to a PAL6035).
