I need advice for a wireless/wired router

Which wireless router is the best? We have the following configuration in our house.

4 desktops wired

(soon. electrician will be installing wired line in our house on tuesday. Currently I am using wireless on my desktop from 50+ feet away from the router. 200kbps internet sucks. Can't wait until we subscribe to 3.0mbps DSL and wired connection. (3.0mbps is the fastest available in our area))

2 laptops wireless

(both laptops have internal 802.11g 54mbps antennas. If possible I would rather not have to get pcimcia (i hope i got that right) wireless adapters (for example, belkin pre-n), in case I want to install a SBA2ZS notebook card down the road)

What router would be the best for our setup?

I'm a big fan of the Linksys wrt54g. I haven't had any issues with it, and it's updatable with 3rd party linux distros if you need any more features beyond what Linksys provides with it. Has the 4 port 10/100 switch built in, and I've used probably 5 different manufacturers wireless cards to connect to it, with no issues. Just stay away from version 5.0 of it if possible (in case you want to install a 3rd party distro).

honestly
belkin, netgear, USR and linksys are all great brands. Some of the older linksys ones have weird problems once in awhile but the wrt54g is the best soho router of the now.
