I need a workout routine...but not one that will kill me.

Ok, I want to get into semi shape by Aug 10th.
Where do I begin?

Facts:

I'm 5'8" and around 190lbs so yes, I'm not small.

My fastest mile ever was 14mins.

I can't do a single pull-up.

I don't eat like I should but I've been trying to eat more healthy foods lately.

The first person to recommend the SEAL workout will be shot without warning.

Dude... just go for a 3 mile walk a day. During those three miles try jogging a couple hundred feet every now and then. Once you shed about 5-20lbs. Then start trying to do some workouts.

Walking with jogging interspersed is a good idea. I went from doing 1/4 mile walk/run for 1 hr to 4 miles continuous running in about 2 weeks.

Cut white flower, sugar, and trans fats from your diet. Basically, eat meat, fruit, and vegetables and no junk/processed foods. Avoid bread, pasta, and starchy foods like potatoes. Snack on cheese and nuts. For fruit, berries and kiwis are good.

That should get you started.
