Is there an online tutorial somewhere?
Windows 2000 Pro desktop and Windows 2000 Pro laptop.
Both are using the same workgroup name. Both are sharing DSL and are hooked to each other via my (switched) Linksys router. The Linksys is set up as a DHCP server with both the computers as DHCP clients. There are no problems with internet access.
I didn't change the defaults for file sharing since they seem to have shares active for all the drives by default. However, I can't see the other computer on either of them. I don't know how to set it up. (Note: I am not using W2000 Server.) I want to be able to share a drive full of MP3 and picture files. Ie. It'd be nice to stream MP3 off my desktop hard drive while I'm on my laptop.
How do I do this?
