I Need a VPN Software Solution.

I have an offsite office with 1 Win2KPro machine.

I need it to connect to my onsite WIn2K server.

I am using Quickbooks Pro for my accounting and my offsite workstation needs to share the QB file located on my local server.

We are using DSL for internet connection.

The workstation dosnt need to be connected all the time but when it is, it needs to look like it is part of my local network and be able to log into QB and work in it just like they are local.

Please help. Ape Out.

Windows 2000 Server has a built in PPTP for VPN access and Windows 98/ME has the client built in. Symantec(Raptor) also has a good product as well as Checkpoint.

Yeah. If you already have Windows 2000 Server at your office, then setup the VPN feature in RRAS, and you should be in business.

If you have any quesitons about this, let me know via PM/IM/email.
