I need a VCR...any suggestions?

I don't need all those fancy bells and whistles but I do want something that's gonna be solid with good picture quality. What should I be looking to spend? Any specific models you can attest for?

You can get high end VCRs for under $100, so I don't think it matters at this point. If you just want to record things, get a TV Tuner/PVR card instead.

Panasonic, JVC, Toshiba and Sony make good VCR's.

CostCo B&M has a Panasonic 4 head hifi stereo with Dynamorphous heads VCR for $59.99 out the door, no rebates.

You can get a nice Panasonic (PVV-4523/4524) for around $65, and you can get a nice Sony SLV-N50/51/55 for around $75 at Wal-Mart. The Panasonic is very nice.
