I need a stick for Win 2000. I had a Sidewinder Precision Pro USB but the software bundled doesn't work under Win 2K. I like the Saitek X-36 but it doesn't support Win 2K yet either. I heard Sidewinder Precision Pro 2's software is good for Win 2K but I am not sure. Does anyone have the Precision Pro 2 working under Win 2K? What other recommendations do you all suggest?

All Sidewindner's work in Win2K. Go to Gaming Options in the control panel, hit add, and pick Sidewinder(Auto Detect) while you have it plugged in. You won't have the ability to map keys like you would have with the software, but it works

I haad a problem with using the software on mine also. Try taking the USB adapter off and use the joystick port on your sound card and see if that helps. It did for me.
