I need a small, powerful smartphone.

I had a smartphone for about two years which was 4.47" x 2.32" x 0.52" and 4.6 oz.

I upgraded to a larger phone which is 4.96" x 2.56" x 0.47" and 6 oz.

I really don't like how large the new phone is and am looking for something similar to my old phone's dimensions. With a case on the new phone it's huge and bulky and requires me to use two hands. Plus it can't go in my pocket which drives me insane. I can't stand having to carry it around.

I do like the power of the larger phone though, the old phone was only 840 MHz (overclocked, 600MHz stock, single core). Dual core CPU is a must, Android is a must.

Needs to be ATT compatible for use with StraightTalk.

Price is not an issue.

Either one should meet your needs.

Thanks Crono, I'll check those out!

No problem. I was looking just now to see if any phones came out more recently than those with decent specs and same size and weight, but it looks like every manufacturer is moving toward 4.5" and greater. Even "mini" has changed meaning, now designating a 4.3" display phone (which translates into around 5 inches phone length).

There are Windows Phones in that spec class, but even they are moving more toward larger phones, as Apple might be in a few months.
