I need a recommendation for a top-o-the-line laptop....

My friend just took back her HP P4 1400/15"/256mb/20gb today.....

Costco had nothing comperable to replace it with.... so she got cash back.

She really liked the HP.... and PLEASE, no Compaqs.

Need ideas for a replacement, and hot deals are wlecome too !!! 😉

Laptop's = IBM || Dell

for ibm:
A's = big desktop replacment machines
X's = extremely thin/light portable machines
T's = Both light & powerful, but not quite as much of either as the A's and X's
R's = More budget minded.
