I have an AMD 3000+ chip on a socket 462 ASUS mobo. This is all in a Koolance water cooled system. I'm looking for something reliable and fairly quiet. What are some suggestions? Thanks in advance.
A nice and quiet heatsink in a liquid cooled case? What do you want the heatsink for? CPU/GPU? Most people cool their CPU with water if they have liquid cooling. Which can be virtually silent. If you want a heatsink for a cpu... to aircool? I recommend the Zalman 7000cu.. the alcu is fine too... aluminum dissipate heat faster than copper... but copper transfers heat better.
I'm confused also, but if you really need an air cooler for your CPU then look at the Speeze/Spire/Fanner (goes under lots of names) FalconRock II. No need to spend more!
