I've been doing it my own way for a long time. I can't believe it just because public knowledge last month. I was spacing the real URL off the screen with pseudo-spaces (ALT+0160). I wanted the javascript code (which someone told me would keep your web site's domain-forwarding URL in the address bar after it has been forwarded to your real host) so I could also have whatever I want in the address bar. Now I realize that that it can only be done with frames and it doesn't put "whatever I want" there.
I was doing it for a Penny-Arcade post I was requested to make after I made my first spoof. I ended up using the newer developments from December for
this URL.
On Penny-Arcade, administators, moderators and "deputies" can "jail" users, replacing their avatar with that "prison bars" GIF and removing all BB code and signature privelidges (One step away from temp banning). So it's really a URL crafted for those guys...
