I need a program to setup my Monitor

I suppose there has to be some sort of program out there that can help me set my monitor up in various resolutions. I'm thinking something that shows various colors and such to help me setup color balance, brightness and contrast, geometry, screen sizes, moire, etc.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

well you need to know who made your monitor then go to there site

Oh, I'm not talking about drivers and stuff. I know I've seen reviews at places that talk about software that will put different colors and shapes on different parts of the screen so you can play with the on-screen controls. I 'll take a look at that HP one.
