My sister is terrible, and she downlaods all this crap that ruins the computer within weeks. But I want to keep it going, and they have this at school, and I was wondering whether I could get a personal version. I got a free 60 day trail, but I need something more permanant.

Thanks agian.

What do you mean by "stuff can be changed around"? If she's a limited user, she won't be able to install anything that needs to write to the Windows system folder. That will help stop the spread of a lot of spyware.

I'm with MrChad. Running as a limited user should prevent most of the serious problems from occuring. The worst that can happen is that her particular user account gets borked, but then you can just wipe it and create a new one. And really, this is mostly a social problem anyway - she needs to be told what is allowable and be educated about the crap out there on the Internet. If she is too young or just too immature for this, then she shouldn't be browsing the Internet without supervision.
