I want to purchase a copy of either McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.0i (preferred) or Norton AntiVirus Enterprise. The only problem is that they only offer these in bulk quantities which I don't need and can't afford.

Does anyone know where I can purchase these?

For situations that we need an anti virus solution for just a file server, and not 10 users also, we use this. It can be licensed for more users later if needed.

That's very kind of you but McAfee catchs the most viruses and spyware with Norton tagging along behind.

If you go to the University of Hawaii, you get 8.0i free. :p I also would like to know why you must have enterprise software.

It does?

If those two are your own options, you could could call their sales department and see if they'll sell a single license to you. The biggest issue with corporate versions though is that they're made to work with a management server on your network.

For McAfee it is because it has the most flexible, configurable interface without the ad spammage provided *free* with the consumer version.

I thought that KasperSky caught the most viruses and spyware :p

I think the Kaspersky UI isn't as great as on VirusScan 8.0i. That is worth the 0.24% to me. ;)
