How bout if you take him out to a bar rather than set him up with a 65 year old fat bald man who sends pictures of his ex-wife's daughter to guys on the internet?

At first I thought you were doing this for your son, and I was thinking how wrong on so many levels that would be.

Besides that I don't know of any personals sites. So I couldn't tell. But I would check with him first. I would be
pissed as hell if a buddy of mine thought I needed to be on a personals site.

I dated a girl I found @ Yahoo personals for about 6 months. It's a decent site if you can sift through all the bogus ads.

AFF does VERY well some of my friends tell me. It's definitely worth a try.

I started Yahoo personals during the summer. No luck yet. Really pisses me off that there are bogus ads in there since it is a paid service.

LOL, me too... though I would appreciate it if my dad would try to set me up with someone :) but definitely not on the dating websites...

So you have a boy AND a girl... interesting... You might want to ask your boy's permission before you do this. Or maybe let him deal with it himself, he probably isn't ready to date again.

if "your friend" is good looking at all, facethejury.com and hotornot.com have worked well for me

What exactly is a bogus ad?

I've never used one of these sites before (ya, I know, shocking considering how much time I spend on the net) and I'm curious what constitutes a bogus ad. Do people post pics of someone else? drag queens? What's to be gained by posting a bogus ad?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Bogus ads are probably written by 65 year old fat sweaty guys running porn sites. You say hi to a good looking girl and get a reply with a real email address. You think things are going well so you email her...of course from your real email address. Then you get a new email from the so-called girl with a link to a website. It's got some hot pictures of her, but to see the really good ones you'll need to get out your credit card and pay. That's a bogus ad. Oh, and don't forget that you emailed "her" from your normal account so now you'll get lots of nice spam about a nice girl and her horse along with some other interesting stuff.

PG:

Thanks, I never understood the bogus ad concept. I always thought it would be something an ugly chick would try to get "in" with you before telling you this isn't what she really looks like.

Haha!

Thanks,

-Matt
